1) Replacing fee-for-service models with bundled payment models for specialty physicians – with guaranteed competitive base salaries and uncapped additional earnings from productivity and value-based compensation models.
2) Arranging value-based contracts with insurers, with these full-risk bundled pricing partnerships capturing larger percentage of overall revenue from a patient’s care journey and subsequently greater overall revenue from higher patient throughput and case volume.
3) Providing patients affordable, high-quality care services all under one roof along with virtual care programs, all biased towards conservative noninvasive interventions instead of the pursuit of the most profitable procedures, for improved recovery outcomes and customer experience.
Why We Invested
While hospitals are necessary for acute and highly complex care, they are highly inefficient and overpriced when it comes to routine orthopedic surgical procedures. The traditional fee-for-service model incentivizes needless procedures and drives high costs for society.
